How to pass additional user data?

At times there may be a reason to pass additional user data (ie. Traffic Source, Extra Encryption, Affiliate code or other data) that you would like passed back to you on the Callback URL.

You can do this by:

1. Login to the onboard site (http://onboard.offerpalmedia.com)
2. Go to the Applications tab
3. Click on the Advanced Settings link for your application
4. This will bring up a window - click the check box to Include the affiliate parameter

5. Append the parameter affl to your request to us. The AFFL parameter can accept up to 32 characters.
This will work for Displaying Banners, Displaying Surveys, and Getting Offers.

Example: If your offer page url was: http://pub.myofferpal.com/dde9a3bf4df819bc31b87b95ecdb32cb/showoffers.action?snuid=1234

You can update this url to look like: http://pub.myofferpal.com/dde9a3bf4df819bc31b87b95ecdb32cb/showoffers.action?snuid=1234&affl=CUSTOMDATA

6. On the Callback URL you will see an extra parameter, affl with the data that was passed along.
